Smartsheet

Let your agents read your Smartsheet sheets, reports and workspaces, search them, add and update rows and comment on rows.

Connection

Authentication: API key (API access token).
Required settings:
- Region — api.smartsheet.com for a US account; api.smartsheet.eu for an account hosted in the EU (api.smartsheet.au for Australia).

Smartsheet → Account (profile picture) → Apps & Integrations → API Access → Generate new access token: name it and copy the token (shown only once). The token acts with your own permissions: the agent sees the sheets you can see. The API requires a Business or Enterprise plan. Set the region to api.smartsheet.eu if your account is hosted in the EU (app.smartsheet.eu), or api.smartsheet.au for Australia.See Smartsheet’s documentation.

Action	Description
`get_current_user`	Get the Smartsheet user behind the token (id, email, name, locale, time zone, account).
`get_report`	Get a report: its columns and rows (with the source sheet of each row), paginated by rows.
`get_row`	Get one row of a sheet with its cells.
`get_sheet`	Get a sheet: its columns (id, title, type) and its rows with their cells (columnId, value, displayValue), paginated by rows. Filter with row_ids, column_ids or rows_modified_since to keep the response small.
`list_columns`	List the columns of a sheet (id, title, type, options, primary flag) — needed to write cells by column_id.
`list_discussions`	List the discussions of a sheet (sheet-level and row-level), optionally with their comments.
`list_folder_children`	List what a folder contains: sheets, reports, dashboards (sights), sub-folders, templates.
`list_reports`	List the reports the user can access (id, name, access level, permalink).
`list_sheets`	List the sheets the user can access (id, name, access level, permalink, dates), paginated.
`list_workspace_children`	List what a workspace contains at its top level: sheets, reports, dashboards (sights), folders, templates.
`list_workspaces`	List the workspaces the user can access (id, name, access level, permalink). Token pagination: pass lastKey back as last_key.
`search`	Search everything the user can access (sheet, report, folder and workspace names, cell data, comments…). Wrap the query in double quotes for an exact match.
`search_sheet`	Search the cells, discussions and attachments of one sheet. Wrap the query in double quotes for an exact match.

Write actions (3)

Action	Description
`add_row_comment`	Start a discussion on a row with a first comment.
`add_rows`	Add one or more rows to a sheet. Each row lists its cells as { column_id, value } (see list_columns). Rows go to the bottom unless to_top, parent_id or sibling_id is set; all rows of one call must use the same location attributes.
`update_rows`	Update existing rows of a sheet: new cell values ({ column_id, value }) and/or a new location. Cells not listed keep their value.
