Atako is built around a company, not individual accounts — your subscription, agent slots, and credit balance all belong to the company, and any number of teammates can share them.

Roles

Every company needs at least one admin. The last remaining admin can’t be removed or demoted — promote someone else first.

Inviting members

Admins invite teammates by email from Settings → Users:
1

Open Settings → Users

Only visible to admins.
2

Send an invitation

Enter one or more colleagues’ email addresses and click Invite.
3

Invitation accepted

The invitation expires after 7 days if unused. Once accepted, the new member appears with the Member role.
Pending invitations are listed alongside active members, with their expiry date — admins can cancel any pending invitation before it’s accepted.

Permission to create agents

Independently of role, each member has a can create agents permission, off by default for members and toggled per person by an admin. Without it, a member can use agents they’re granted access to, but can’t create new ones — attempting to shows a message pointing them to their admin.

Shared company context

Go to Settings → Context to give every agent background information about your company once, instead of repeating it in each agent’s own instructions:
  • Description — free text about your company, its products, culture, and processes.
  • Useful links — labeled links to resources like your wiki, brand guidelines, or knowledge base.
Only admins can edit shared context. Members see it read-only. This is separate from an individual agent’s own business context, set when creating that agent — see Creating and managing agents.

Company details

Admins can update the company name and logo from Settings → Account.
