# Render

> Connect Render to your Atako agents — 8 read and 4 write actions.

Let your agents follow and operate Render services — browse workspaces, services, deploys, jobs and custom domains, read logs, trigger a deploy, suspend, resume or restart a service.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key (Render API key).

<Note>
  Sign in to the Render Dashboard → Account Settings → API Keys → Create API Key. Name it, then copy the key — it is shown in full only once. A Render API key has no scopes: it acts with your role on every workspace you belong to.

  See [Render's documentation](https://render.com/docs/api).
</Note>

## Read actions (8)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `get_deploy` | Get one deploy of a service (see list\_deploys): status, commit, trigger, start and finish times. |
| `get_service` | Get a service by id (see list\_services): type, repository, branch, settings, suspended state and dashboard URL. |
| `list_custom_domains` | List the custom domains of a service with their verification status. Optional: name (array), domainType ("apex"\|"subdomain"), verificationStatus ("verified"\|"unverified"), createdBefore / createdAfter (ISO 8601), cursor, limit (integer 1-100). |
| `list_deploys` | List the deploys of a service, newest first (deploy id, commit, status). Optional: status (array of created, queued, build\_in\_progress, update\_in\_progress, live, deactivated, build\_failed, update\_failed, canceled, pre\_deploy\_in\_progress, pre\_deploy\_failed), createdBefore / createdAfter / updatedBefore / updatedAfter / finishedBefore / finishedAfter (ISO 8601), cursor, limit (integer 1-100). |
| `list_jobs` | List the one-off jobs run on a service (id, start command, status). Optional: status (array of pending, running, succeeded, failed, canceled), createdBefore / createdAfter / startedBefore / startedAfter / finishedBefore / finishedAfter (ISO 8601), cursor, limit (integer 1-100). |
| `list_logs` | List logs of one or more resources of a workspace (all in the same region). Required: ownerId (string, see list\_workspaces), resource (array of resource ids — service, cron job, job, Postgres, Redis… — see list\_services). Optional: startTime / endTime (ISO 8601, default = last hour), direction ("backward" = newest first, default \| "forward"), level, type (app, request, build), text, instance, host, statusCode, method, path (each an array of strings; level, text, host, statusCode, method and path accept wildcards and regex), limit (integer 1-100). When hasMore is true, pass nextStartTime / nextEndTime as startTime / endTime. |
| `list_services` | List services (their id is the serviceId used by the other actions). Optional filters: ownerId (array, see list\_workspaces), name (array), type (array of static\_site, web\_service, private\_service, background\_worker, cron\_job), environmentId (array), region (array of frankfurt, oregon, ohio, singapore, virginia), suspended (array of suspended, not\_suspended), includePreviews (boolean), createdBefore / createdAfter / updatedBefore / updatedAfter (ISO 8601), cursor, limit (integer 1-100). |
| `list_workspaces` | List the workspaces the API key can access — gives the ownerId used by list\_services and list\_logs. No argument required. Optional: name (array of exact workspace names), email (array of owner email addresses), cursor, limit (integer 1-100). |

## Write actions (4)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `restart_service` | Restart a running service without a new build (not supported for cron jobs). Arguments: serviceId (string, path, see list\_services). No body. |
| `resume_service` | Resume a suspended service. Arguments: serviceId (string, path, see list\_services). No body. |
| `suspend_service` | Suspend a service: it stops running and serving traffic until resumed. Arguments: serviceId (string, path, see list\_services). No body. |
| `trigger_deploy` | Trigger a deploy of a service. Arguments: serviceId (string, path, see list\_services); deployMode (string, optional) — "build\_and\_deploy" (default: build then deploy) or "deploy\_only" (redeploy the last successful build, cannot be combined with commitId, imageUrl or clearCache); commitId (string, optional) — git commit SHA to deploy instead of the latest commit of the connected branch (not for cron jobs); imageUrl (string, optional) — image URL for an image-backed service, same host/repository/name as configured; clearCache (string, optional) — "clear" or "do\_not\_clear" (default). commitId and imageUrl are mutually exclusive. |

## Permissions
