# The Floor

> Find your way around Atako: the four storeys, search, keyboard shortcuts, and guided tours.

Atako is laid out as a building. Your agents, projects, and company context each live on their own storey, and you move between them without leaving the page.

## The four storeys

The storeys are stacked top to bottom. Use the storey rail, or press **⌘ ↑** / **⌘ ↓** (**Ctrl** on Windows and Linux) to go up or down one storey.

| Storey | What it holds |
| - | - |
| **Dashboard** | Activity, costs, and channels for the whole company. Admins only. |
| **Projects** | One slab per project, each with a Kanban board and a wiki. See [Projects](/guides/projects). |
| **Floor** | Your teams, the agents and people on them, and each agent's channels. |
| **Context** | Three cubes: **Knowledge**, **Files**, and **Integrations**. |

## Dashboard

The Dashboard is split into ten districts. Click a district to open its panel:

| District | What it reports |
| - | - |
| **Inference** | Credits, tokens, and model calls |
| **Agent activity** | When agents work, and what wakes them |
| **Integration log** | Every integration call, one by one |
| **Mailboxes** | Mail in and out, per enabled mailbox |
| **Webhooks** | What services send, to whom, and when |
| **Inter-agent communication** | Who talks to whom |
| **Integrations usage** | The running total per integration over the period |
| **Scheduled tasks** | The day's scheduled tasks, hour by hour |
| **Agent versions** | Which runtime version each agent runs |
| **Human notices** | What agents raise, and what waits for an answer. See [Notices](/guides/notices). |

<Note>
  Only company admins can open the Dashboard. Members see an **Admins only** message instead.
</Note>

### Period and live mode

The period band at the bottom of the Dashboard sets the window every district reports on. It opens on the **last 24 hours**, as history.

* Pick a preset — **Today**, **24 h**, **48 h**, **7 d**, or **14 d** — or drag the handles to set a custom window.
* Choose the granularity: **15 min**, **Hour**, or **Day**.
* Turn on **Live** to follow activity in real time. The window then moves forward on its own, every 30 seconds. Turn it off to go back to a fixed window.

## Floor

Click a team to frame it, then an agent to open the agent panel. The panel shows the agent's team and manager, its **Activity**, its **Scheduled tasks**, its **Shared files**, and the notices it raised. Its channel tabs — **Chat**, **Webhooks**, **Mailbox**, and **Inter-agents** — open each channel in its own window. **Agent settings** holds everything you can change on the agent.

From the Floor you can also:

* Click **Create an agent** to add a new agent. See [Creating and managing agents](/guides/creating-agents).
* Click **Org chart** to see your company's people and agents, team by team. See [Organization](/guides/organization).
* Switch between **Browse** and **Edit**. In **Edit**, admins drag teams to rearrange the floor, and drag agents or people to change their team.

## Context

The Context storey holds three cubes. Click a cube to enter it:

* **Knowledge** — your company context, shared with every agent. See [Team](/guides/team#shared-company-context).
* **Files** — the drive shared with your agents. See [Files](/guides/files).
* **Integrations** — the tools your agents use, connected for the whole company. See [Integrations overview](/integrations/overview).

## The corner buttons

The buttons in the bottom-left corner are available on every storey:

| Button | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Search** | Opens global search. |
| **Notifications** | Opens your notifications. A dot means something is unread. See [Notifications](/guides/notifications). |
| **Settings** | Opens the settings sheet: your profile, preferences, and company settings. See [Settings](/guides/settings). |
| **Log out** | Asks for confirmation, then signs you out. |
| **Mute sound** | Turns floor sounds off or on. |
| **Keyboard shortcuts** | Lists every shortcut. |

## Global search

Press **⌘ K** (**Ctrl K**) from any screen, or click the search button. Search covers agents, teams, people, sessions, webhooks, scheduled tasks, projects, cards, wiki pages, files, folders, integrations, settings, and actions — and takes you straight to the result.

## Keyboard shortcuts

Press **?** to open the full list. Shortcuts stay quiet while you're typing in a field.
